The Social Side
It was one of our favourite Cross Country League events this past weekend and we thank Pinetown & Districts Athletics Club (PDAC) for hosting a great afternoon of racing at Fulton School. We had a large turnout of runners who enjoyed the course and the boeries afterwards.
We are rapidly approaching KZN Provincial Cross Country Champs in August, but there are still a couple more league events to go.
In preparation for Champs, we remind members of our Cross Country Bootcamp this weekend at Westville Eco Trails (Saturday, 6th July @ 6h30am).
We also will have another club tent at the LIV Village Cross Country League on 20 July.

Congratulations to our Ultra Trail Hero, Lloyd Sithole for a 4th place finish at the Mac Mac 200 Miler (320km).
In a time of 88:19:53 (over 3,5 days), Lloyd reminded us once again how powerful the mind can be to support us to do great things.

On Thursday night we hosted the PUMA NITRO DEMO RUN for athletes to test out new shoes in preparation for the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K.
Thank you to PUMA and Absa for the generous prizes and good luck to our members running the race on 7 July 2024. It promises to be a blast as always!
